We Bought a Boat is a collection of compositions and springboards that are not considered new by us. We tried to make this record right around the time "People You Should Know" came out but we ended up throwing everything out because it was TRASH. So we wrote new songs (that are now old) and tried again. We felt it important to continue documenting the progression of our sound. Two ancient songs appear on this release; "Breathe, Neighbor" which segues into "Dark Smiles"

This album was recorded in 4 hours at Wall of Sound Studio in Chicago during the summer of 2017.
